once again evoke is taking place. the friendly demoparty with ansi roots will happen in cologne on 27-29 august, and of course, as every year, it will feature an ansi/ascii compo. in case you might not be able to make it to the party (eventhough we would very much recommend it), we strongly encourage you to submit a remote entry. your piece of work will be shown infront of a real audience (plus over webstream), and there will be real prizes.
maximum size of your entry may be 80 * 1000. it will be shown with acid view 6.0 viewer in 80*25 and in vga-mode, while acid view's built-in topaz font will be used for displaying amiga style asciis. ansimations will not be allowed. if there are enough entries, we will split the compo into pc ansi/ascii and amiga ascii.
we will be very happy if you'd send your work to pandur (tom (at) drastic.net) or to dipswitch (dipswitch (at) kaoz.org) until the 25th of august. evoke textmode art compos have always been something special. please help us to make them even more special!

i am searching for some friendly oldskool-group where i can guest-release my last colly - in progress since 5 years - for a last show off or maybe join with minimal activity. greetz!
